NEW PROVIDER ANNOUNCEMENT:

Daniela Marques joined our practice in June 2022.  Since then, all of Village Internal Medicine staff have enjoyed working with her.  In addition, her patients have grown to trust and depend on her.  It is with great sadness that we are informing you that Daniela will be leaving us in May 2024.  Daniela and her husband will be relocating as he starts his medical residency training program.

As many of you are aware we have historically always been a four-physician practice.  We are happy to announce that as of September 2024 we will be back to full capacity as our new associate, Dr. Fadi Deeb, joins us in a permanent position.

So that patients experience no interruption in patient care, Elizabeth Tow, NP will be joining our practice in May.  She will segway Dr. Deebs patients into his arrival. Mrs. Tow will be staying on with us once Dr. Deeb arrives in a part time role.

We are very excited for the VIM family to get to know them!

Dr. Fadi Deeb

Dr. Deeb has been chosen to join our group based on his many qualities.  His attending physicians describe him as loyal, hardworking and always trying to improve himself.  His personality is engaging, warm and compassionate.  In 2023 he was named the “Resident of the Quarter” at Cape Fear Valley Health System. We know when you meet him you will understand why we are so pleased to have him join our ranks.

Our patients will be happy to know that he is truly “home grown”.  He is a North Carolina native, having received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from NC State University and will be completing his Internal Medicine Residency at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in the summer of 2024.  He and his wife, Janah, are already very familiar with the medical community in Cumberland County as well as its people.

Elizabeth Tow, FNP-C

Elizabeth Tow will be joining VIM in May 2024.  After transitioning PA Marques’ patients into Dr. Deebs’ hands, her role will be supporting our doctors with their patient’s same day urgent care needs.

Ms. Tow received her Bachelor’s of Science from the US Air Force Academy in 2008.  She then went on to pursue her nursing degree and subsequently advanced her career by receiving her Nurse Practitioner degree from Simmons University.  She has been board certified as a provider of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.  Having been stationed at Fort Bragg during her military career, she has strong ties to the Fayetteville community.  Her wide experience base and love for patient care has made her an excellent addition to Village Internal Medicine.
