SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS/SICK VISITS

Village Internal Medicine takes pride in the care our physicians and staff provide for all our patients. Each of our physicians has full daily schedules that were created sometimes months in advance. They do however; leave work in appointments open on their daily schedules for same day appointments/sick visits, these slots are filled very quickly. Should you find that you need to have a same day appointment/sick visit you should contact the office immediately by telephone. DO NOT LEAVE SAME DAY APPOINTMENT/SICK VISIT REQUEST ON THE VOICEMAIL OF YOUR PHYSICIANS MEDICAL ASSISTANT. You will need to speak to one of helpful staff members directly. The earlier you call the more likely we will be able to get you an appointment for treatment. We are not a walk in clinic so be sure to call first. Any delay in calling can delay you in getting an appointment to be seen.

MEDICAL RECORDS REQUEST

Medical records requests are processed in 14 business days. You must have a medical records release signed and dated by the patient or the records cannot be released. We have the form on this website should you need one. Please do not call repetitively and leave messages regarding your request once it has been made. Medical records are process on a first come first serve basis.

MESSAGES FOR THE PHYSICIAN(S) OR THE MEDICAL ASSISTANT

If you need to speak to your physician or his medical assistant, and it is during clinical hours you will need to leave a voicemail message with the Medical Assistant. All messages are retrieved within 2 – 4 hours of you leaving them however; it can take up to 24-48 hours to return all calls with the appropriate answers for the messages left due to the number of messages received. Please do not leave your message more than once in that period of time. That only serves to slow down the process of your return call when the Medical assistant must listen to all messages.

LAB PROCESSING

Lab specimens will be sent to LabCorp for processing. LabCorp will file processing fees to your insurance and bill you any remaining amounts due. Please contact LabCorp directly for billing questions. Village Internal Medicine is not responsible for balances due to LabCorp.
